Meet the reason for existence. She weighs 7 lbs 7 oz. She is loud as all get out, and she is the most beautiful baby in the whole, wide world.
RD is doing OK after the C-section and everything is now calm. To those who added a prayer for her, thanks.
The Random Granddaughter has graced the world with her presence. I will have pictures up soon.
Looks like the Random Granddaughter is stuck. The doc is recommending, and the RD has agreed to, a caesarian. Still, not too much of a worry. The doc is competent and experienced, and this is pretty routine.
So why are my knuckles white?
I am now at Baylor Irving wating while the Random Daughter gets labor induced. Everyone, especially the RD, is nervous as hëll, even though this has been a pretty routine pregnancy and everythng is going smoothly so far.
I listen to the monitors and the baby’s heartbeat is the most wonderous sound in the world.
