Stormtroopers march through the streets of Dallas!
They told me that if Obama was elected, stormtroopers would soon march through the streets of red-state America…and they were right!
Don’t panic. It’s not the Obama Youth coming to round up all conservatives and put them in re-education camps….yet. It is actually part of the Nieman Marcus / Adolphus Christmas Parade. The Random Daughter and her husband dragged me to it this year and I had a good time.
Santa made an appearance….
As did Rudolph…
There were marching bands…
…and horses…
Elvis handled cleanup duties…
Santa put in another appearance…
Then there was the giant elf…
…and Mister Potato Head.
It ended as it began with the Bearded One.

You may note that it is called a Christmas Parade, not a Holiday Parade or a Season’s Parade. The public school marching bands undoubtedly gave PFAW and the ACLU fits by playing Christmas music whose lyrics are religiously themed.
